Haslam cannot fathom that his "executive decision" to acquire the disgraced Watson for an insane amount of picks + signing him to an unprecedented massive was a bad decision and has doomed any coach. There was too much karma to overcome.

Didn't see the game, but did see that series. Or lack thereof. Watson is trash. Baker might've already won his first SB with that team the last two-three years. Watson just quit on his team when they were in scoring position, when they still had a chance to get back in the game. Say whatever you want about Baker, but he never quits on his team.

Living here in Knoxville where Haslam is from, we've seen first-hand what he can do to an organization. He was one of the primary shot callers at the University of Tennessee when they were bad so many years. He was the one that wanted to hire Greg Schiano when the fans revolted. None of us are surprised by what he's going to the Browns. I feel sorry for their fans.

To me at least, the Browns have a better roster than the Panthers, who for my money are the least talented team in football. So the Browns would be the impulsive answer, because you can build with their pieces, whereas the Panthers have nothing you can build around.

And yet, there's Watson and that contract, which unless Christmas comes early to Cleveland is going to be a Brown for the foreseeable future, which would lead many to say the Panthers should be the pick.

Me personally, I would take Cleveland. Cut Watson day one and say we are going to win some fucking football games with a human being who wasn't credibly accused of multiple accounts of sexual assault, and we will deal with the cap as it comes. And probably be forced to start Jameis Winston with full awareness of the irony and want to jump off a (small) bridge.

Maybe the Panthers then?
