If it passes, each conference gets 4 division champs, 3 wild cards—7 teams total. All 7 seeded by regular-season record, reseeded after 1st round.

Not sure how it’d be confusing? Same teams make the playoffs, they’re just seeded by record as opposed to, say, an 8-9 division champion hosting a playoff game.

What’s the re-seeding after the first round?

It’ll never happen for good reason, but I’d love for the 1 seed, and then the 2 seed for the wild card round, (so really 2nd and 3rd seeds in each conference) to choose their opponent
