Bredeson's replacement might need to be the #1 priority of our offseason next year.

Not a bad 53. Hopefully our defense improves.

Not too many battles. I think we need to add a safety to push Merriweather off the roster.

I'd expect Tez over Palmer or Shep.

If we're being honest, we're still looking for Ali's replacement at that spot. Bredeson was hot garbage at LG just like Goedeke & Feiler were.

That's true. That's 3 failed options in consecutive years. PFF rated Bredeson as the 93rd best guard. I mean, NO ONE in the top 92 was available that we needed to re-up him for 3 years with $12M guaranteed? They didn't think there was going to be an LG in the draft who only, at worst stunk? I mean, that would still have been an upgrade. lol

Tend to agree.

Reading up on Tez, I don't think he makes the team. Maybe if he shows he can be a return guy, he has a shot... but I think that's his only path to the roster. Return guy or bust, is my guess.

24 offense
27 defense
3 STs

That's 54 players. Gotta let go of 1. I'd say there's zero chance we carry 7 DL players in a 3-4 defense.

Right out of the gate it should be better than last year. Dont scare could easily grow to concern.

The biggest thing is going to be who we are moving on from and who makes the practice squad.

IR to some extent.

If Desmond Watson makes the 53 man roster out of TC that means this roster isn't nearly as good as people thought

Was he ever intended to this year? One ankle and somebody better be ready. Losing to much weight to fast isnt really good either.

Morrison is that if healthy. So is Dean. And McCollum showed it early in the season.

CB depth is a strength.

RB Nick Chubb. 35th pick of the 2018 NFL draft from the University of Georgia. Has spent his entire career with the Cleveland Browns. 4x Pro Bowler, 2nd Team All Pro in 2022. I know it's not Jason Harris or Troy Green, UDFAs from ICDC College. But you should know who Nick Chubb is.

If Opeta doesn't get injured last offseason I doubt Klein makes the roster. I gave him the edge this year because I'm always skeptical of OL coming off knee injuries. But you're right. He's got a lot to get better at.

I expect Jake Majors to be the backup C.

That depth chart would look a lot better with a Trey Hendrickson trade or Devin Lloyd trade. Or both.

Even a Justin Simmons signing to push Merriweather to a PS player. All our safeties are tiny so it's not surprise they were all banged up last season.

He's under contract until 2028. But, I can see how you might make that mistake.
