Predict the Score: Week 6 San Francisco @ Tampa Bay, October 12
Welcome back everybody! And congratulations to Mooz on coming closer than everybo--- I'm kidding. Congratulations @Babeinbucland on your 1st win this season.
This week we're back at home against another NFC West opponent, this time the San Francisco 49ers. Vegas only has us as a 3 point favorite. But the O/U is a pretty robust 47.5. No doubt buoyed by the fact that both teams had their best offensive showings in week 5. Still, I take the under there.
Tiebreaker this will passing yards by the 49ers. They are the #1 ranked passing game in football at 290 yards a game, despite the fact they are without their starting QB Brock Purdy, TE George Kittle, WR Brandon Aiyuk and their next 2 WRs Jajuan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall have missed time. Mac Jones currently is #1 averaging 301 yards per game.
Bootz' Prediction
49ers 23
Bucs 17
49ers- 278 passing yards.
Place your bets and good luck. Go Bucs!
Winners:
Week 1, Nobody, 1 point off
Week 2, Bootz, 2 points off
Week 3, Bahamian:bucfan, 4 points off
Week 4, Bootz, 4 points off
Week 5, Babeinbucland, 15 points off

Poor Mooz- that is the 2nd time he has been toyed with in as many weeks.
And I think I should get bonus points for probably the highest winning point differential in our predict the score history

49ers 24
49ers- 189 passing yards.

Um, no, Week 9, 2023, Bahamian:bucfan won with a margin of 31 points. I didn't feel like going further back than that, headache.Babeinbucland wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 12:38 pm Poor Mooz- that is the 2nd time he has been toyed with in as many weeks.

San Fran has owned the Bucs recently to the tune of 4/0 in the last 4 matchups. They will not go 5/0. No Kittle, no Purdy and many others adds up to a convincing Buccaneer win in the Tamps heat.
