The fumble was a bad bad decision by the Seahawks backup WR.

The INT was deflected off of Logan Hall's helmet. So that could go a number of ways.

@Babeinbucland you be the judge.

You've called Milroe WR twice now, obviously intentionally.

Are you saying that because you think he should switch to WR or that you don't know he's their backup QB
I honestly thought he had moved to WR during the draft process. My bad.

You might want to do some research on Hendrickson. He looks like he jumped right to his age 37 season. He has 2 sacks on the season.

Right now, the big missing link on our defense is Kancey. It's popular to hate on him but when healthy, he is a big asset. Hopefully, he can be like McCoy and his injuries are just bad luck. I guess we will see how patient Licht is.

As of right now, our sack leaders are Vita Vea with 2 and LVD with 1.5. That is a bit of an issue. Yaya seems to have regressed. Reddick hasn't done much yet. Our linemen aren't getting any pass rush, aside from apparently Vea.

Fortunately, the secondary is playing well and it's the only reason we haven't given up a ton of points. With the amount of points we can potentially throw up, we need pass rush. When we get Evans and Geodeke back, I expect the offense to truly explode. We have the potential to make people abandon the run. Without pass rushers, the defense can't exploit that
:? Ummmm what about Kancey??!

Our lack of pass rush doesn't shock me. We were hoping Reddick at 31 and on a 1 year deal could rebound from a poor 2024 and bad attitude. We hoped Yaya could turn his "pressures" into actually getting to the QB. Not sure what we hoped from Braswell and I guess we were just content with Nelson.

This front 7 needs to have an actual infusion of talent. We haven't tried for years.
yes, Kancey. No one on the team is currently on a pace to beat the sacks Kancey had last year, in 12 games.

Otherwise, I agree. The reason why so many were up in arms about drafting E2 is because the above wasn't much of a secret. E2 turned out to be a stud and a wise pick, but the reasons why everyone assumed we were going edge remain.

I am not sure we could even trade for a stud edge either. Let's say we could get Hendrickson from the Bengals for minimal assets. How do we absorb that contract? The front seven may well be a multi-year rebuild. Unless, Denis turns it around in a hurry along with Kancey and David Walker turning into studs when they come back next year. I'd probably take the under on that

The offense is something though. God, when we get Evans and Geodeke back....Evans is truly the missing link on that offense. His size and contested catch ability are the one thing this offense doesn't have,

Call the Bengals on Hendrickson NOW.
You might want to do some research on Hendrickson. He looks like he jumped right to his age 37 season. He has 2 sacks on the season.

A week back some video shared PFFs edge rush ratings for the season up until that point. I remember seeing Hendrickson with 2nd highest pass rush win rate and 2nd highest overall grade for an edge rusher. He is probably still dang good.

Hendrickson is PFF’s #14 rated pass rushing edge right now. He is the #23 overall edge.

YaYa is #44 pass rush, #57 overall and Reddick is like #60 pass rush and #54 overLl

Don't look now but 4-1 without guys that will return:

1: Evans
2: Morrison
3: Izien
4: Dean
5: Irving
6: Goedeke

Guys that could return:

1: McMillan

Guys out for the Season:

1: Ko Kieft
2: Cody Mauch
3: Kancey

All starting players - what this team has done is nothing short of amazing. I know there are no excuses, but when you have a team set during training camp and suffer this many injuries, yet still come out 4-1 after five weeks, you have to give the QB and the coaching staff their flowers

Good win against one of the better teams in the NFC so far this season. Until today, Seattle had not given up a rushing TD, had not given up 400 yards of offense in a game (Mayfield's 370 yards passing nearly eclipsed the 49ers' 389 yards of total offense, the previous high water mark given up by the Seahawk's defense). First game they didn't get a takeaway. Most first downs given up. Lowest success rate of stopping teams on third down. First game giving up more than 20 points.

And don't know what deal with the devil we need to make for our defense to get the interceptions that hit them in the hands. McCollum nearly gets a 99 yard TD in the first half, Diaby nearly has a pick in their endzone for another TD that somehow goes right to Cupp for a first down.. Ends up being a 28 point swing in Seattle's favor as they score TDs on both drives.

Helluva game by McLaughlin. Playing with the flu, nails all of his kicks and makes the saving tackle on at least two kickoff returns when the special teams blew it yet again.

And what a game by Rachaad. Shows why the team should try to keep him around if possible. Several tough runs for positive yards, a couple of head's up plays (play before Egbuka's TD he smartly catches the backwards pass from Mayfield and goes down to prevent a turnover and of course his game-sealing run/slide to keep the clock moving) and several key blitz pickups to give Mayfield the extra second or two. I'm ready to see more of the 4th string guy than Tucker at this point also.

Great game by the receiving corps too. Johnson showing up, Shepard continuing to make clutch catches at clutch times. Godwin still shaking rust off but being huge on third downs. Otton finally getting to spend time running routes and not being an extra lineman. Massive third and 14 catch and run to keep a drive alive and anther key catch late in the game.

But oh my word what a game by Egbuka. Great route running, finding seems in the zone and taking the top off of the defense on his 57 yarder - Mayfield's gotta be pissed he didn't hit him in stride for a TD on that one. They'd talked about seeing that defense before the game and how they were going to take that deep shot if it happened.

And finally, gotta give Mayfield his props. Incredible game by him, the TD throw to Egbuka was a dart that could not have been more on the money if Mayfield handed it to him. Great shot downfield to hit Egbuka for the 57 yarder on third and long. Presence of mind to step in before a flag gets thrown on White and Shepard after they started getting into it with Seattle's d-line on the Egbuka TD. Key scrambles for first downs - and sliding after getting the first down rather than taking a hit. And a historic day passing the ball.

And a real bonus: No major injuries that I am aware of for the game other than maybe the Special Teams' coach's chance of keeping his job.

Ok, I get it. He is not at the top of these lists. Even if we traded for him, it would be as a rental for this season
I absolutely think it is worth it.

Diaby ain't cutting it. Reddick ain't cutting it. With how Mayfield is playing and some offensive players coming back healthy in a couple of weeks, we should upgrade our defense. Trying to play it safe will likely mean another first round or divisional round exit.

One bad cross country performance and we’re just chucking out the entire defense lol

Going into the game most thought it was a strength of the team, coming off a masterclass of a second half against the defending champs.

Who thought the defense was a strength of the team? And shutting down and Eagles D that has struggled all year long and struggled to put up 17 points at home today isn't something to write home about.

People weren’t praising the defense for their performance so far this year or for a great second half last week leading up to this game? Okay no use arguing with someone blatantly lying just so they can be an asshole

Anyone that was is proving they dont watch the games either. What "performance" exactly? Defense gives up 26 ppg, struggles getting to the QB, struggles generating turnovers. What exactly are we having about exactly? Playing well for 2 of 4 quarters against a bad offense? Yea, that's setting a high bar...
