9 UDFAs making the final 53? I hope not. We’re in big trouble if that’s the case.
9 defensive UDFA's for the 69 players we keep from the 2025 class.

Maybe you forgot that each of the last 3 years we had a rookie in there and with it growing pains. Each have improved the following year.Bootz wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 9:40 amI dont believe that to be true at all. I think we've gotten better at game planning and scheming around their weaknesses. Our line is getting better year after year since after losing everyone in 21..
3 of our linemen have been together for multiple years and Barton will go into year 2. Continuity is finally building. And obviously you hope Klien is the last piece to the puzzle so that we can move forward.

Who is listing Anthony Walker Jr 3rd on the depth chart? They are listing him as starter. Looking at his last three years of work, I could even see him getting cut. They seem to have a lot riding on just a player having experience.

Goedeke was a failure at LG. So much so that he got benched his rookie year and moved outside the next.
Mauch was so bad his rookie year, he had nowhere to go but up. But he still needs a lot of work.
Barton was a rookie last year. So you can't say he improved yet without having played a 2nd season. I'm sure you'll say he'll improved because Goedeke & Mauch did but sure.
That said, if you can't see how we schemed around OL deficiencies, I'd implore you to just watch for the entertainment and not the Xs & Os. There was a major shift in playcalling on offense as the season went on. Coen didn't ask the OL to block as long. A lot less zone blocking scheme as well as our guys aren't the square up types. We absolutely did a lot to cover their flaws.

Wow top five in scoring too.
Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
Lichts OL is ridiculous. I severely doubt it falls apart without Coen. Especially since all signs point to Carberry, a direct disciple of McVay for years.
Now, if Liam turns around the Jacksonville OL, then I'll be impressed.

Man it's so cool finding out there's actually nothing really good about our team. Not the QB, oline, receivers, defense, nothing. And if we win the division by some miracle, it's only because the NFCS is so bad.
Man I'm just so fucking pumped for the 2025 season!!! Either all of our bad players get exposed in the regular season, leading to a horrible record and embarrassing losses. Oooorrrrr we get defaulted into the playoffs only to lose because Baker Mayfield is our QB.
Anyone else counting down the seconds to see which of the two outcomes our team is capable of this year???

We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.

Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
Seems that the Bucs have kept 6 WRs recently as opposed to the 7 in the OP. This could open up a slot for someone at a different position.

*Trask, Palmer, Nelson not making the cut. Can't see Nelson being released, given the guarantees and void years we just signed him to in March.
*No backup C. Literally.
*Keeping 3 nose tackles?? Very surprising.
*6 Edge rushers would surprise me given how little Bowles likes rotating them.

2nd 53 man roster prediction. I decided to mirror this one off of what we did last season to start the year. We went in with more players on defense than offense (27 vs 23). Only 5 WRs and 12 DL/Edge rushers.

I think I see 3 of the 11 2025 free agents getting cut on your list, if we cut any others on that list do you think we'd lose them?
I'm thinking practice squad or let me say prepaid call backs.

I would think the punter would (maybe) make excuses about the hangtime not being as good in Tampa.

Heard it from multiple people, players, and reporters this offseason, SVD looks legit. If he can stay healthy, he's going to not only start, he's going to be an impact player.

I agree about needing the back up Center. I would like Pratt in the lineup over Trask but we will have to see how preseason goes.
I am rooting for Watson to get the weight down.
Maybe consider a new punter

Punter Riley Dixon just may turn into a major weapon for us. Jake Julian is our other new punter, neither have placed a punt for us yet.
Did anyone find out why Jake Camarda went whacko on us, was it because he couldnt handle getting hollered at about lack of hang time?

Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
He’s instinctual. That was evident in his college tape. Early on I theorized the FO watched Kancey tape, and couldn’t help noticing the linebacker who was all over the field. Good story. I choose to believe it’s true.
Hard to shake the injury history though. The high school achilles. The shoulder injury that lingered for years. The foot (IIRC). For whatever reason, some guys aren’t built to withstand the physical rigors of the game past their 20s. Whether it’s impacts, or merely pushing off the ground explosively and putting their ligaments and tendons under strain.
A lot of words to say “we’ll see.”
There’s players who had the injury bug early and shook it. Somehow, someway. Let’s hope he’s one of them.
