Heard it from multiple people, players, and reporters this offseason, SVD looks legit. If he can stay healthy, he's going to not only start, he's going to be an impact player.
He was legit last year. The D sunk the moment he went down after week 2.

Shorthanded and all we were 12 TD's from being the #1 scoring defense.

We're deeper this year.

The kind of deep that let's you make a run. The top just needs to take that next leap.

We seem to stick with hurt and not ready players, I hope their hungry to make some noise or give way to some new hunger.

Kind of hard to develop players without sticking with them.

You need to relax. I think you are as old as me if you remember Craig Erickson as our QB and how awful football was.

you'll get perspective back.

Do you think a player will catch on to less personal attention being directed at them?

Assume Godwin PUP.

Teddy is making the team. He’s the backup. Are they keeping 3 QBs?

Both Watts and Ramirez will not. Both gone probably.

I think with Walker on IR, one of those two make it. Third QB on practice squad most likely. Not sure we go with just four OLBs, had six rostered last season.

TDS? Nobody asked me but I think we signed Teddy because Pratt was dealing with a bad back and could not get on the field. We wanted to keep Pratt so bad we protected him all last year.

I have to think Pratts time in Tampa is over because of this set back and unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to see what we had there. I just don't see Trask beating Bridgewater out either.

I assume you also have Godwin on PUP? You have 55 names total listed and only PUP next to Wirfs, which would be 54.

Which is a real shame, think he could have done good things this season. Seems like one of those players other teams' fans may not know but who is a guy that's loved by the fans of the team he's on. By all accounts he has the tools and the want-to, and the early reports from camp were pretty good. Here's hoping he gets the opportunity to shine next season.

Was hoping Walker could at least become the next Gholston. The kind of guy that just gets his job done and you never have to worry about. The kind of guy that if he is the weak link in your defense, you're doing good.

Every team needs those guys

So many that I hate to see cut, need to see more from most all of them. We are at a disadvantage, our coaching staff is probably going over just how much better they can get with more experience and how many ways they can be used.

We have to get the kick off coverage better.

The top 3 seem to be set in stone with David, Dennis, and Walker. Battle for that 4th spot likely goes to whoever contributes most on STS. A bunch of names there. Deion Jones seems to have the inside track

Walker seems like a I'll only play for Tampa practice squad player - if he gets healthy. Or maybe IR. Looking at his stat history I wonder if an old dog can learn new tricks.

How many final cuts will not clear waivers?

More than five or less than five?
