Almost forgot. need to give Grizz his props as well. he called a pretty darn good game, maybe even great. didn't try to call anything dumb, didn't turtle up, called a great final drive, again. And most importantly he listened to me when I was screaming at the TV to run it on the GL, lol.

At this stage, convince me why you'd pick up Kancey's 5th year option after this season.
I think we should try to trade him for a low pick in the offseason. Low pick because hes made of glass but has value because he still has upside and young.
Speaking of snaps, I'm anxious to see how Bowles divided up Dean and Morrison's time. They weren't on the field together at all, as Bowles does not typically rotate corners. It's clear that this narrative on Dean is bullshit and OBP just saw the writing on the wall.

I wouldn't.
His fifth year option would cost $13.6 million and would need to be picked up by May 1st of next season.
It remains to be seen if he's injured and misses time (again), but I wouldn't pick up his option unless he finished the year healthy and playing good snap-to-snap football.

Kancey is at best a 3rd down pass rush specialist. Wouldn't surprise me if the overall dline play improved with Roberts taking over.

What upside? I struggle to see what he brings to the table. Being made of glass diminishes any value you might have.

Agree I was just referring to his youth but nonetheless we need to move on

Didn’t Roberts pick up a sack?
Roberts split a sack with LVD. As I recall, he was minimally blocked (read: barely had a hand on him), which was more due to the OL getting punked by the blitz instead of Roberts crushing his opposition.
I am cautiously optimistic about him, but he is not a Jedi yet.

I give great credit to Bowles and the defense for keeping us in the game long enough to finally get our drive.
When Chubb scored quickly I felt this was good for us having all timeouts, 2 minute warning in 4 down territory. I just believed we had a great shot under these circumstances. Everybody watching looked at me crazy when I said this was a blessing in disguise when Chubb scored.
It was our best chance with keeping the clock and our timeouts. If that didnt happen, we lose.

Just saw that this is the Bucs 5th straight season starting 2-0. It’s the longest active streak in the league.
Let us hope this year avoids the mid-season slump.
